Photo Journal - Stonehenge

While on archaeology field training at Merton College at Oxford University, I visited Stonehenge with my fellow students.

We were fortunate to be able to visit the site up close; it has since been closed to the public except on certain occasions. (I think the Druids get special access.)

The scale of the stones that make up the henge are truly stunning, sitting in the middle of the plain.

These items will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Are you sure?
