  • Visited approximately 50 countries, 6 continents, about 25 African safaris. Climbed Kilimanjaro, visited mountain gorillas, partipated in game capture in S. Africa, darted jaguars in Paraguay for conservation effort. Chased rhinos by elephant back in Nepal. Primarily a professional wildlife photographer. Licensed pilot, Founded Safari Magazine for SCI 1974. Founding member of Safari Club International.Member of the Adventurers Club of Chicago since 1973

About Me

  • My Most Memorable Experience:
    After roaming the world for 50 years it's impossible to pick out one that is most memorable. Climbing Kilimanjaro was great. So was visiting the mountain gorillas, so was stopping a charging lion, but perhaps most memorable was watching my four daughters emerge from 9 months of seclusion.
  • My Dream Adventure:
    Presently interested in photgraphing Marco Polo sheep in Tajikistan. Also interested in darting snow leopards and Siberian tigers as part of a conservation effort. Plus I'd like to travel to Cameroon or Gabon for bongo, and Zambia for sitatunga.
